Anders Ericsson spent much of his career studying what makes the world’s top athletes, chess players, musicians and others the best at what they are doing. His theory of “deliberate practice” led to him being recognized as the world’s foremost expert on expertise.

His research captured attention of mainstream audience mostly after Malcolm Gladwell’s bestselling book “Outliers.
