The logic of exploitation Vs logic of exploration.

The logic of exploitation(cat, GRE, exam score) is given primacy to select someone to work for logic of exploration(research). Given the fact that the former task can be done better by computers, I don't know about the relevance of its continued glamourification in the future

While both (explore and exploit) are important, I think there should be a balance. Rubric will deny opportunity for the early losers who are marathoners. The system should be designed to allow outliers and undervalued (Moneyball strategy). https://t.co/FLbttmhSi4
