Improvisation and Entrepreneurship: Research by Prof Lakshmi Balachandra

In her paper “The Improvisational Entrepreneur: Improvisation Training in Entrepreneurship Education” Prof Lakshmi Balachandra proposes training using principles developed from the theory of performing improvisation to promote entrepreneurship mindset.

Her approach specifically focus on “improvisational alertness” as a critical entrepreneurship consideration. It include paying close attention to interpersonal conditions of the present and the future in order to adapt potential limitations for venture success.
