This paper by Nathan Crilly “‘Fixation’ and ‘the pivot’: balancing persistence
with flexibility in design and entrepreneurship” looked at ‘Design fixation’(which occurs when exploration of the solution space is
unintentionally constrained by designers’ knowledge of prior solutions) in the light of the concept of PIVOT in Lean Startup.
I don’t agree or convinced by the arguments of the paper, but it introduces great design concepts which I think has enormous potential application in entrepreneurship.
